Formerly known as ESDS, the UK Data Service is a comprehensive source of data, covering key economic and social data, both quantitative and qualitative. Including World Development Indicators, OECD, ILO, IMF and UN data.

WTO Data Portal

The new site allows users to access WTO databases on trade and tariffs. It covers intellectual property and trade in different types of goods. Some require subscription. There is a detailed section on statistics including a data visualisation feature.

WTO Trade Cost Index

New from the WTO,  The WTO Trade Cost Index uses estimates of bilateral trade costs for 43 economies and 31 sectors between 2000 - 2018 to illustrate the evolution of trade costs over time, the incidence of trade costs across economies and sectors  for different household income groups, by gender, firms size and skill groups (as well as identifying the main factors determining trade costs).
