Where resources are not held by SOAS library, we can request items to be loaned to SOAS library for you to use.

We cannot predict whether your request will be successful or how quickly it can be fulfilled. Many items will need to be consulted at SOAS library, so you would need to book a library study space in order to use the item once it is available. Some libraries can offer scanned material for you to view from home.
There is a charge of £5 for each successful application but requests made by SOAS staff members will not be charged
Each SOAS Student can have 2 pending requests at any one time.
