Tips:

  • Include ‘http://’ only if the web address does not begin with ‘www’.
  • What if there is no author for a webpage?
    • If there is no named author for the webpage you are citing, use the name of the organisation responsible for the webpage.
    • OR OSCOLA 3.4.8 says, ‘If there is no author identified, and it is appropriate to cite an anonymous source, begin the citation with the title in the usual way’.
  • What if there is no date for the webpage?
    • OSCOLA 3.4.8 says, ‘If there is no date of publication on the website, give only the date of access’.
