When users wish to access this database outside the university, they need to follow the steps below:
The user must first create a personal account for the database. When creating the account, they will need to choose a username and password, and then verify it via their personal email. Please note that the personal email cannot be used as the username. (The username and personal email are separate.)
After that, the user should visit SOAS physically and access the database. He/she will then log in using the username and password they created in Step 1. (While on campus, users can access the database freely without logging in, but to authenticate off-campus access, logging in is required as described below.)
Once logged in, SOAS's subscription will be authenticated for the user's personal account, and they will be able to access it off-campus for the next 90 days without further procedures.
After 90 days, the user will need to repeat Step 2.
Contains scholarly articles mainly in Korean, published in some 3,500 journals from 1,200 research institutions in Korea. Covers all subjects in social sciences, humanities and natural sciences.
